Quick, professional and friendly with our house move

Absolutely fantastic service from Jaki, Sudesh, Claire and the rest of the team with our house move. They explained every step in the process to us clearly, worked swiftly and professionally and made sure they were available at all times to answer any questions we had. First class experience and we’ll be recommending them to others.

Amazing service

We used these solicitors for both probate and conveyancing services.
On both counts they kept us up to date both via e mail and telephone throughout.
Nothing was ever too much trouble.
They were kind understanding and empathic.
Always returning calls promptly and doing their utmost to get things sorted
I cannot rate them highly enough

Incompetent & Unprofessional.

Completely mismanaged my divorce - didn't even tell me when there was an application for the action to be struck out by the other party which resulted in more work and aggravation and a massively increased legal bill since by the time it was reactivated they had gone abroad.
Cost me thousands of £, let alone massive stress. The delay meant that I missed out on the chance to emigrate as well.
Got the run-around when I complained then refused to acknowledge they had a case to answer.
So, thanks a bunch for ****ing everything up and then waving two fingers !

A stressful experience that I want others to avoid.

Sadly, I cannot recommend Fairbrother and Darlow. It took many months to prepare for what should have been a very quick divorce. Finally, after months of preparation they lost all the confidential documents that were ready to send to the Court. As they did not take this loss seriously, I felt compelled to report them to the ICO who agreed that there had been a data breach under GDPR. I also formally complained to the Legal Ombudsman who upheld my complaint. I regret not looking at their reviews before engaging their services.
