I and other executors of my partner's will used the Probate Team at Lovedays Solicitors. I was extremely disappointed by the service I received. Communications with us were almost non existent and finding details of the grant of probate on a public website before I was notified by the Probate Team was not appreciated.The staff dealing with the estate were very slow, the estate may have been complex but there was no mention of this. We employed Lovedays almost by mistake as my intial enquiry had been to Potters whom I had used previously with no problems. Potters were taken over by Lovedays after I had used them in 2015.

We recently sold and bought a new property with Lovedays handling the conveyancing, as an aside they also produced and hold our wills, and have dealt with many things in our behalf. However back to the point of our recent conveyancing, we are all in difficult times which throw up unusual things, despite this our conveyenser, Rachael Mellor not only dealt with these but with the many other things that made our particular purchase continuously changing, over four months , but took them in her stride. She worked relentlessly to make sure we got not just the house we wanted but protected our interests in every way. Rachael is the most dogmatic, professional person I have ever had the pleasure to deal with and strongly recommend to anyone looking for a conveyenser to handle a sale or purchase, engage Rachael, absolutely brilliant ! When i bought my house I thought the process would be difficult as it was a complicated purchase. Claire made the process a lot easier and wouldn't let the other party stall.
