    Cannot recommend Helen, and all at M&M enough. Our house sale became quite complicated and time consuming, but Helen was helpful and responsive throughout. We dealt with many incompetent conveyancing solicitors on the buyers side, which only made us feel happier be represented by Helen.

    Top quality service from Anna Davey. After obtaining quotes from several solicitors, not only was Matthew and Matthew the most competitive in Bournemouth, the service I have received has been second to none. Anna has always been contactable and responds quickly, even when her work load was much more than usual throughout the Stamp Duty rush. Work was complete before original estimations helping to make the process smooth and stress free. I could not recommend Anna enough!! Thank you

      Serious breach of our personal information!

      PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We used M&M as they're local to where we live but it is the worst decision we could have made. We had multiple problems and serious breach of our personal and financial information to the estate agent working for the other party who used this against us in negotiations. They gave out or mortgage information which breached GDPR but we dealt David who works as a director for the business and he couldn't care less. He was quite frankly rude and insulting. We also had to chase Mathew & Mathew to updates multiple times and it took us 6 months for a simple house purchase! Also we had transferred a large amount of money to Mathew & Mathew and before exchanging the called wanting the amount again, they didn't even check if the funds were with them! A lot of local estate agents get commission for referring them to you, so they believe they can charge you a premium amount for bad service that breaches GDPR. Please avoid and don't make the same mistake as us, its been an stressful and awful experience.

As you are aware, we have had correspondence relating to this and it has been reviewed internally as required. We are concerned that some details in your review do not reflect the truth. We do not pay any commission for work and indeed have acted for you on multiple occasions where you have instructed us as a repeat client. We understand that buying a property can be stressful, and we always aim to provide clear communication and support throughout. You are aware that you were in a chain which involved a newbuild and which caused the delay for exchange and completion. Whilst we were ready to proceed to exchange for you, we could not do so until the rest of the chain could. Our team work hard for every client and sometimes this can be clouded by the rest of the chain. It is unfortunate that our professional relationship has broken down after so many years and we wish you well for the future.

      This was my second purchase working with Anna Davey following a recommendation from my sister a few years ago and once again our transaction went through smoothly and I’m again a very happy customer. This was very far from a straightforward purchase (my fault), and we working to a very tight timeframe in order to beat the stamp duty holiday in June. Anna provided a brilliant service and I was very pleased that we got the purchase completed in time. She is/was very professional, responsive and flexible to my changing requirements, and she explained every step of the process. We even hit a huge issue with a week to go (again this was my fault), but thankfully Anna honestly did save the day thanks to her great contacts in the industry and proactive approach. I live in Essex and obviously M&M are in Bournemouth, but this is not a problem at all. I have recommended Anna to friends and family in the past and I will continue to do so. Thank you Anna!
