We asked Caroline Cake at Matthew & Matthew to help us with securing probate on a family member's estate. Caroline was very helpful with advice from the beginning, informing us clearly what we needed to do first, what information she would need and then was very efficient in getting the paperwork sent off. Imagine our surprise when probate was granted after 4 DAYS - I think even Caroline was taken aback with such a short timescale. A few days later we received the paperwork and we were then able to proceed with finalising the rest of the estate. Thanks to Caroline and her team for their speedy work, helpful advice and efficiency

Family complexities could have made making my will really difficult, however, both Paul Moores and Shahidah Miah were patient, thorough and empathetic. This meant my many questions were answered with clarity and with a professional empathy they applied to my difficult situation enabling me to feel confident with my completed will. I feel what distinguishes a good solicitor, is not just knowing how to apply the law but being able to put themselves into the client's shoes and understand what the client is trying to achieve; I got good solicitors.

Caroline Cake assisted with my Grandfathers will in his words ‘Caroline was extremely helpful, she did a great job, very friendly and polite and a pleasure to deal with’ - Mr J Langston Caroline was very helpful with my Grandfather who is hard of hearing. They chatted about football, and she built up a lovely rapport with him, although he found a lot of the information jargon, Caroline was able to explain everything to him in a way that he would understand. Everyone else at Matthew & Matthew also seemed very polite and helpful! Thank you so much 😁

Over the last few months I have used Matthew & Matthew, Probate and Conveyance departments to help with the administration of my Mothers estate Conveyancing and arranging a mortgage. We’ve has the please of using Matthew and Matthew Solicitors four times, two sales and two purchases, with Emma King and her team handling everything for us. The service has been excellent every time. Emma and her team were professional, efficient and they kept us updated throughout each process. Property purchases and sales can be stressful, however everything was handled smoothly and any queries were dealt with relatively quickly. We really appreciated the clear communication and attention to detail from start to finish. We would definitely recommend Emma King and the team at Matthew and Matthew Solicitors.

Cannot recommend Helen, and all at M&M enough. Our house sale became quite complicated and time consuming, but Helen was helpful and responsive throughout. We dealt with many incompetent conveyancing solicitors on the buyers side, which only made us feel happier be represented by Helen.

This was my second purchase working with Anna Davey following a recommendation from my sister a few years ago and once again our transaction went through smoothly and I’m again a very happy customer. This was very far from a straightforward purchase (my fault), and we working to a very tight timeframe in order to beat the stamp duty holiday in June. Anna provided a brilliant service and I was very pleased that we got the purchase completed in time. She is/was very professional, responsive and flexible to my changing requirements, and she explained every step of the process. We even hit a huge issue with a week to go (again this was my fault), but thankfully Anna honestly did save the day thanks to her great contacts in the industry and proactive approach. I live in Essex and obviously M&M are in Bournemouth, but this is not a problem at all. I have recommended Anna to friends and family in the past and I will continue to do so. Thank you Anna!
