I am a Professional landlord and my association with Englehart's Solicitors goes back over a number of years ,so has stood the "Test of time".
I have used them for both buying and selling property and during this time they have been Professional and have given me Exemplary service, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.
I would like to use this platform to say a big Thank you to Red and Tracy for your recent work on my behalf.

Efficiency

Richard, Michael and Jess were fantastic throughout my purchase. The chain above us was slow but he was keen to chase up the agents and solicitors, mortgage providers where needed. Our documentation was sent to me in really quick fashion. We were the first ready in our chain for our sale and our purchase which is no surprise. Richard was direct, prompt and efficient. Mixture of communication on the phone and via emails. He is backed up by two lovely colleagues.

Grateful thanks

Richard Woodley was my conveyancing solicitor and from the outset was polite, professional, informative, communicative, and entirely helpful. I am very grateful for his help in reaching a satisfactory conclusion to the sale of my late sister's flat.

Conveyancing with Attitude

Terrible arrogance from Richard Woolley with several delays during the process which were entirely avoidable. His lack of focus added 2 months to the process and the sale almost fell through. When gently pushed to perform better, he became arrogant and adversarial. It was an expensive and miserable experience.

A job well done.

We recently sold our house using Engleharts for our solicitors and I can wholeheartedly say it was the right move for us.
We were dealt with in a very sensible and respectful manner. Richard and Jess were the points of contact and they kept us informed of progress but they mostly just got on with the job at hand.
We had all the paperwork dealt with and in the end they were ready to exchange and were waiting on the other solicitors to complete the sale.
They did their job in a proactive way. Thanks Guys.

We managed to sell our flat and buy a new house with the help of Catherine. Being in the stamp duty holiday storm and being in the middle of a chain and selling our flat through the council would have make it more difficult if not for Catherine proactivity, professionalism and patience.
I feel like it's been a long time since I've seen another profession exceed my expectation, but I've been blown away. I really recommend them, as I know I'll be coming back for my next move.

Unhappy with this firm.

An incompetent attempt at carrying out conveyancing that nearly cost me my sale. Senior management don't appear to be in charge of what's going on. Inappropriate behaviour by the solicitor and staff. My buyer rang me to say that his solicitors had not heard anything from Julia in months. Receptionist was rude when I picked up my documents.

Property Sale & Purchase

Catherine Siverns at Engleharts provided an invaluable service for me during the sale of my house and purchase of my flat. I was working abroad for much of the time and she was always available and helpful. Also due to my work schedule it was very important to complete on a certain day and I felt as if she did everything in her power to make sure the completion date was achieved. I couldn't have asked for better representation.
Lately I needed to query some leasehold information and she was super helpful in this matter.
I would highly recommend Engleharts.
