No overall contact with anyone who could make a decision and relate what was happening. Change over of staff on a frequent basis, indicating an unstable work environment, deliberately evasive in contact with the solicitor in charge Mr. Morcowitz. Length of time, took two years for a simple Will and Probate, which commonly takes between 6 to 12 months. Not able to address problems and speak with the client in professional manner, does not answer emails, does not carry out the expected duties of an Executor. Has not complied with the legal requirement of sending accounts of incurred costs by Engleharts to the beneficiaries.

I cannot recommend Engleharts Solicitors. During our house purchase, they failed to advise on the Party Wall etc. Act 1996 for three separate structural projects, despite our surveyor specifically instructing them to check for 'third-party consents.' Since discovering this error 9 months ago, we have reached out multiple times and have continually been ignored or fobbed off. It appears the firm is hoping we will simply go away rather than addressing their failure to protect our investment. We have now launched a formal complaint and are involving the Senior Partner and the Legal Ombudsman. Avoid if you want a firm that takes accountability for a huge oversight in the conveyancing process. We trusted that, as the legal experts, they would advise us of all the required paperwork for our sale. They failed to do this and have done nothing to help us since then.

Over the course of two years, I’ve had to drag this company through the ombudsman twice just to get any kind of response. They ignored my calls, emails, and even in-person visits for months. Despite all this, the deeds to my property still have the wrong name. Their mix of arrogance and incompetence is astonishing. This is by far the worst company I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. If you're considering doing business with them—don’t! They were not thorough in their dealings with me. and completely unprofessional. If I could score a zero I would. Avoid at all costs.
