As many would know buying a house is a stressful time. There are to many moving parts & variables that you just have to accept however having the information from a great solicitor is key for both parties to engage & I have to admit Taylor legal definitely delivered . I was always informed everstep & was given suggestions which really helped the purchase of my house smooth . Munpreet was calm, professional & pleasure to deal with during my recent purchase.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Bhavish, Laila, and Munpreet on several occasions, and I can’t speak highly enough of their service. Their expertise in handling my property purchases and transfers has been exceptional, with clear, knowledgeable advice at every stage. What really sets them apart is how approachable and supportive they are—they made what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and well-managed. They were always available to answer questions and kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and genuinely friendly solicitor.

Having previously dealt with solicitors who did not communicate or respond, it was very reassuring to deal with Taylor’s Legal who were very communicative, explained every step clearly to me and answered my many many questions! Will definitely use them again if needed.
Extremely disappointing experience with Taylors Legal. I found the whole process slow, frustrating and poorly communicated. The level of communication from the solicitor handling my matter was extremely poor, and I often felt completely out of the loop. This was not what I expected when purchasing a property. The experience was so frustrating that it has put me off wanting to continue with the property purchase process altogether…. What made the situation even worse was the cost. I was charged £1,800 (with no contract) to terminate the sale, despite having received very little communication or service. I was also charged £65 for a phone call that I did not request and, as far as I’m concerned, never even had the opportunity to have with the solicitor. Around 75% of the fees were taken when the sale was terminated. In my opinion, the charges were extremely expensive compared with what I understand other solicitors charge, especially considering the level of service I received. Overall, I found the service poor, the communication unacceptable and the costs far too high. I would not recommend Taylors Legal based on my experience. If you are considering using them, I strongly recommend getting a full breakdown of all fees, including termination and cancellation charges, and comparing their costs with other solicitors before committing. I am highly considering escalating this to a formal complaint under your Complaints Handling Procedure if necessary, and to the Legal Ombudsman for an unfair assessment of costs as I was recently informed I was overly charged…

Taylor’s legal came recommend to me and their response time was excellent to my enquiry. Safaa then took on my case and has been my first point of contact since the start and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has been absolutely outstanding throughout my new build purchase. I’m extremely happy with the service I received from Elif Gozlugol and would highly recommend her. She helped me deal with title issues relating to a previous remortgage after requested information from my previous solicitors was still outstanding, and by then my original firm that did my remortgage had closed, making the situation more complicated. Elif handled all the Land Registry’s requests and put a great deal of time and effort into chasing the information needed. Throughout the process, she was friendly, approachable and responsive, keeping me well informed at every stage. I would not recommend this solicitor based on my experience so far. The handling of my property purchase has been extremely frustrating and has caused significant delays. My solicitors have repeatedly chased them for responses and documents, yet there have been several weeks with little or no communication. The solicitor dealing with the matter, Safaa, said that she would send the initial documents weeks ago, but despite this, I have still not received them. In fact, after a month, a simple introductory email had not even been sent to my solicitors, let alone the draft contracts. My own solicitors have been left constantly chasing for updates, with little or no response. This is now putting the entire purchase at risk, and if the situation continues, I may have no choice but to withdraw from the sale as it is becoming a waste of time and is causing unnecessary stress. I have also informed the estate agents and asked that they raise the situation with the seller. Hopefully, the seller will be made aware of the delays and can consider whether they are satisfied with the level of service being provided. I am sharing this as an honest account of my experience so far, particularly as I feel some of the existing reviews do not reflect my experience. If the firm improves communication, sends the outstanding documents and starts making meaningful progress, I will update this review accordingly. Please think carefully and consider your options before instructing this firm.
