A friend recommended Thirsk Winton when I needed a lawyer to help me check and approve a licence and deed of variation for building works in my leasehold flat. Shmuel managed the process quickly and smoothly, clearly explaining what was happening at each stage and responding very fast to my queries. The pricing was fair and transparent and worth every penny for the peace of mind.
Matthew Barrett dealt with our conveyancing matter and was utterly rude, unprofessional and made the whole process difficult with his sarcastic tone and quite nasty emails. I was shocked at this treatment. He has no manners, no sense of client care. And just says whatever he wants. He behaved in a way that can only be described as arrogant and incompetent. Avoid at all costs.

I worked with Christabel at the Woodford Branch for my conveyancing on the sale and purchase of a property and found her extremely efficient and really liked that she kept you updated on the tasks completed which is what I have struggled with in the past with other solicitors and ended up chasing. I highly recommend Thirsk Winton!

Christabel Fernandez acted for the sale of my home. I have never dealt with a solicitor who was so efficient. All relevant paperwork was emailed within 24 hours to me and the buyers solicitors. I have used Thirsk Winton on several occasions over the past few years, including auction purchase, lease renewal, will making, power of attorney, and most recently sale and purchase of property. In every case the firm have been excellent, efficient, competent and trustworthy. They offer a down to earth, value for money service. My main contact is through partner Matthew Barrett, who has always provided me with great service. Christabel Fernandez recently handled my sale and purchase. She handled both in a competent, practical, efficient manner. I would not hesitate to recommend the firm and Christabel to others.
