Awful Solicitors that leave you by your own

I opened a case with 1st Central Law on the 17/11/2021, I never expected things to go as rough as this. I was involved in an accident that left me injured for many months, stopped me from doing my usual activities that I otherwise would’ve been doing, the other party had agreed that it was their fault. I was referred over to 1st Central Law by 1st Central Insurance, now that was the biggest mistake that I could’ve ever done.

I have not heard back a single thing from 1st Central Law since April 2023, I have given every single needed information that they have asked for, have done everything they’ve asked for and yet, I am sat here in the dark not knowing what point my case is at. I have exhausted every method of contact available, that being via their 2 different phone numbers that lead to their phone line, in which they do not like to answer and prefer to leave customers not knowing what to do by saying they are too busy to answer the phone and have been for months now. I have sent them countless emails, online enquiry’s, even tried to message them on their own portal in which it states that they reply in 2 days, biggest lie ever.

As a customer paying for legal costs to be covered when I pay for insurance, especially when I pay for a premium, I definitely do not expect to be in the situation that I’m currently in; especially when ‘professionals’ are handling my case. If you are looking for solicitors, turn around and do not choose 1st Central Law as they will just bring you a lot of stress, time wasting and a book full of ingenuine claims. I even went as far as contacting 1st Central insurance but they are as bad as 1st Central Law.

It’s as if they have a whole desk of stacks of unfinished claims and thousands of customers awaiting any responses.

Awful company full of liers, time wasters and unprofessional people. Please listen to my review and do not use 1st Central Law.

This company is the wost

I can't hit by a bus round around about c. Ctctv shows the bus hit in me. For some reason this company first Central we're not fight my corner and of the accepted liability for the accident that won my fault. I'm not happy take a wide birth, everyone.

My first claim ever and I must admit they made it so stress free … it was so good that I didn’t hesitate renewing my insurance with them for another year

Horrible experience

Horrible experience once I reached the settlement part. Continuously messaged me on the portal & I always responded but continued to have my messages ignored, saying “you have not responded our previous message” etc. it has not gotten to the point where they have threatened to close my case because I “haven’t responded” even though I have trails & trails of evidence showing otherwise. The negligence on their behalf is SHOCKING. Even when you call, you are left on hold for 40+ minutes.

Terrible Company (not even 1 star!)

Terrible company! been on hold for over an hour and still waiting to talk to somebody. I had an accident in December 2022 and to date, I've had three physio appointments and one doctor's appointment. I have asked for some help with obtaining an MRI this was over 3 months ago and to date, I have heard nothing back. Their online portal states they will answer you within 2 days is rubbish. I messaged them back in June 2023 and I have heard nothing despite leaving several messages in the last 3 months. Stay away from them and use a no-win no no-fee claims company instead. I'm just about to do that as I need medical help and 1st Central Law has just left me with constant pain and has ignored me since June 23!

Never call back...

Open case with these guys from a accident in 2022... Cannot reach the claims team on the phone, never respond on the portal and NEVER call you back
I have had to prompt them for pysio, psychological appointments and really feel they do not care one bit. Cant wait for it all to be over very frustrating company to deal with

Just ignore you

I am in the middle of a claim and nothing seems to he happening anymore.
I keep contacting 1st central law and not hearing back. Messages which should be responded to within 2 days (per their website) are still ignored over a month down the line.
It's been incredibly disappointing. I genuinely don't know what is happening next with my claim. I need physio but 1st central law are just ignoring my requests for one.
My medical assesspent was also incorrect and needed to be amended which added to the delays and frustrations.

Absolutely awful service

I paid extra through my insurance for the extended legal protection and really wonder what I got for that.

I was involved in a non-fault accident and my insurance company put me into contact with 1st Central Law as the appointed legal firm.

They are impossible to access by phone.

They never respond to email enquiries through their website.

It took them over 4 months just to reply to my information capture form, which was the not correctly interpreted.

It took them 11 months to arrange a medical assessment. I also requested additional psychological help.

It took a further 2 months to get the medical report, which was wrong. And the request for psychological help got completely missed.

What was I even paying for, when the case could have been done with a no win no fee firm?

Worst law firm ever

If you can go elsewhere for motor legal representation, I highly recommend that you do as the service that I’m currently receiving is shockingly awful.

I have two completely separate non-fault motor claims happening at the moment, which they are dealing with.

They don’t read correspondence correctly, continually ask for information that has already been submitted (plus, each incident has been very clearly clarified, step by step in an email), but they still continue to mix up/combine separate claims, keep referring you to the ‘portal’. In my case, the portal has the details of both cases combined into 1!

When the other party’s Dr makes an error on the medical report, 1st Central Law suggest that it was myself who made the mistake (even though they have video evidence of the incident and a full statement of facts from myself!).

For the sake of your own sanity, I really wouldn’t bother with them at all.
