I had to find a new conveyancer in a bit of a panic after my previous conveyancer wouldn't proceed with my sale, and I really needed someone who could pick everything up quickly and get things moving and we completed in 24 days, including onboarding etc. Jake Fielden was great. It wasn't the easiest sale in the end, there were lots of delays and issues from the buyer's side and I was constantly anxious about getting it completed, but Jake was patient, responsive and got it over the line. I also really liked that everything could be signed electronically wherever possible. It sounds like a small thing, but when you're trying to get a sale through quickly and your buyer keeps changing details, it made everything so much easier. After the experience I'd had before moving to Jake, it was such a relief to have someone practical and helpful dealing with it. I'd definitely use him again and would happily recommend him.

The day of completion I was told that the original signed documents were not sent to the other party when they were explicitly asked for. JP Goldman tried to send electronic copies, when they were informed that this was insufficient with plenty of time and notice given. A simple, part of the process was ignored, leaving me stressed and upset on the day that was supposed to be a special day. This was a week before christmas and I then had to wait a further 6 weeks before completion took place. I have opened a case with the legal ombudsman after my last contact with them in June. I'm lucky I didn't lose my mortgage offer or my house. I would not believe all the anonymous reviews on here or trustpilot.

We used JP Goldman for our house sale and onward purchase after a personal referral and good reviews online, but our experience was disappointing. Communication was poor from the start. After the initial paperwork there was no contact for 10 days, and I later learned no work had begun as payment hadn’t been requested correctly. Even once funds were paid, progress was slow and emails often went unanswered. The online app never updated beyond “file opened 10th February” and showed limited information. Our buyer eventually withdrew after weeks of delays, and our conveyancer then left the firm with no notice or handover. A new case handler, Anna, was more responsive and helped us complete after seven months in total. Mia Howard, the legal assistant, was also helpful and professional throughout. Overall, communication was inconsistent and frustrating. Based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend JP Goldman for conveyancing
2nd time using Ali and Christian for a remortgage. Superb service. Great communication. Nothing was too much trouble. 100% recommend to anyone remortgaging

The most frustrating professional services experiences I have encountered. Communication was poor throughout, with little to no proactive updates and repeated chasing required to obtain basic information. Tasks that should have been routine were not actioned promptly, resulting in unnecessary delays and uncertainty. There appeared to be a lack of ownership and urgency, with issues being reluctantly addressed when prompted rather than managed proactively. The overall level of professionalism fell well below expectations, and the experience added significant challenges to what is already a challenging process. Over 5 months post completion and tasks remain incomplete and ground lease holders chasing for funds that should have been paid. I would not use this solicitor again and would advise others to carefully consider alternative options if responsive communication, professionalism, and efficient handling of matters are important to them.
Extremely poor service - have absolutely no respect for the urgency and time people have when going through the process of getting a house. Multiple occasions I nearly lost the house due to delays on their end. Would not recommend.
