I have had a nightmare with my council for the better part of 2 years regarding repairs to my property, I have chronic illnesses and the mould in my property caused by a leak in the bathroom, was making me sick, i had called and called to make a repair claim, they sent people to assess the property, however its always the same we will complete this, we will complete that.. Nothing would be repaired. The leak has destroyed most of my property and damaged items i can never replace, it ended me up in hospital many times with infections and a heart attack from stress. I finally had enough of pleading with the council to come and repair, so i sought the help of legal HD, from day one they listened and empathised with my plight. they quickly contacted my council to start the disrepair claim and get the repairs within 120 days, it wasnt about the money for me, however they managed to get me compensation to help recover some of the items that had been damaged within the property. I felt very embarrassed to invite people to my house because the smell of mould and the drain flies that started forming from the leak in the pipes. The council tried many times to ignore the issue and claim it wasnt the councils responsibility, however after sending independent surveyors, the reports stated otherwise. i highly recommend Legal HD to anyone facing issues with housing disrepair, Chloe was the fighting force behind my claim and she understood how i felt, i live in London and Legal HD operate out of Manchester, that was not an issue for Chloe who showed nothing but empathy and compassion. I would like to thank Chloe for all the help she has given me and the support she has shown, the repairs are finally going to get completed and i will finally be able to live in my house again

Everything from start to finish was plain sailing, I didn't once feel stressed over the whole thing, that in its self for me was amazing as I suffer from anxiety and depression! My housing wouldn't replace a flooded kitchen that was completely falling apart and was 20 years old Abi and the teem sorted it they were amazing so helpfull friendly and professional I would recommend them very much

Terrible solicitors did nothing to help with my major repairs and then gaslit and blamed me saying they couldn’t work with me after doing nothing for 6 months with major asbestos repairs wouldn’t recommend to anyone
We investigated your claim having gathered all the necessary evidence and advised that you had poor prospects of success. You chose not to accept our advice, which you are entitled to do and so we have advised you to take a second legal opinion. We wish you the best of luck going forward
If I could no stars I would, did one job out of four and that job, will be useless without all others. Communication was aweful, akeays had to chase them, and the promised compensation didn’t happen, I would never use this solicitor again, should have gone back to Matrix solicitors, there amazing , got all my work done, and didn’t even take a percentage at the end, I got full compensation, but they couldn’t take another job in same house , a lesson learnt with us solicitor.

I contacted this company and they responded immediately, they contacted my landlord on my behalf and all work was completed within a month. They also got me some compensation money which was an additional as I didn't expect any compensation. Thank you especially to Stephanie Wilkinson you were so supportive and helpfull.
