Sheldon Davidson Solicitors recovered my uninsured losses and compensation for injuries when I was knocked off my bike. I was in a car crash in 2025, following the initial claim I was offered physiotherapy. Through the claim process, Alison was working with me, frequent updates, open communication and full accommodations - as a disabled person i cant leave the house often for dropping off letters etc and they were beyond patient with me whilst in between forms etc. As of now I have had claim finalised, compensated and had physiotherapy that has helped my whiplash. The initial claim was handled perfectly - no need to pay my insurance company the excess fee that would have been charged despite it being a no-fault claim. They provided a replacement car super quickly and dealt with the whole thing very well and couldn’t have been more helpful. A year or so later there was still an issue with claiming back fees for the replacement car from the 3rd party’s insurance, so there was a lot of resupply of information, but this too was dealt with efficiently. Overall, I am really happy with the service provided by Auto Claims Assist - particularly Aisha who handled the case. if only the same could be said of the speed and valuation of the car by the 3rd party insurance company!

They tried very hard for a proper settlement of my claim but we were thwarted by legal obstacles placed in our path by the other insurance company.

My only complaint is that I felt the settlement took longer to reach than I would have liked, however, I think that was largely my fault and not that of Sheldon Davidson Solicitors. Their team was very good and responsive.

Incredibly unprofessional, I talked to a woman on the phone about my claim, she was nice and asked me to send my evidence through and they'd send me a contract. I sent my evidence through the same day, two weeks of waiting for a contract to come through, I contacted them again and was told they wouldn't be taking on my claim. They only told me after I contacted them, I very much doubt they would have told me if I wouldn't have followed up. Two weeks I could have been looking for another solicitor wasted.

Wouldn’t recommend, had to constantly chase for things to be done and ended up not claiming for the main injury as I wasn’t confident in their ability to win the case so settled for far less in the end.
