I was contacted 9 months ago (Nov 21) regarding a claim. I gave My Legal Claims who trade under Veritas Solicitors all my details although I thought it was a scam. I had no updates so had to keep chasing. The staff are arrogant and rude. After numerous emails asking for updates I rang Veritas who said my Letter of Claim had been submitted back in March 2022. Still no update in Aug 22 so I rang to be told my claim has now been rejected as it falls outside of their criteria - 9 months after my initial claim. I would avoid this solicitor like the plague. Terrible

Although I found the whole process to be long and tedious, Momil and her team persevered and ensured the repairs to my home were completed and that I was compensated accordingly. Thank you so much Momil for encouraging me to persevere and not give up.

This Calum Page hairy monkey is an ex-butcher and has no formal education at all. I can't believe this guy was the "lawyer" / "case-handler" they have allocated to me to handle my case. Needless to say everything was unprofessional and nothing short of a fiasco.
This Veritas Solicitors LLP company is so unsatisfactory they removed their own Google review / maps page themselves! If that isn't a sign you should avoid this law firm!

From start to finish imaad has been fantastic keeping me updated at all times , responding to emails quickly and at times I missed his calls, I called the office back when I could do to my job and always got hold of him again , very helpful and a great result from getting the repairs finally done , no more severe mould and damp and other repairs, it’s been 2 years since the start of this claim but Veritas have been so helpful and professional and great results , thank you to everyone at Veritas and imaad is a credit to your company

I contacted Veritas Solicitors about the damp and mould in my property and i have been building a case with Veritas Solicitors for 2years, My case was finally going to go to court tomorrow for disrepair against my landlord. 3 Solicitors and 2 Barristers have looked over my case against my landlord over the last 2years for the disrepair and only yesterday i got told that my case was to weak and didn't have enough evidence and the Judge would rule against me with all the evidence i had in my file that took 2years to build. I have got countless photos and videos that i have took over the last 2years for evidence that Veritas Solicitors asked me to put together and send as evidence. What i'm not happy with is that why was it left in till 2days before my case was going to the courts i was told that my case didn't stand a chance when i was made to believe from day one that my case was strong and i had a good chance of winning and why did Veritas Solicitors take on my case if they knew that it would of ended this way.
I understand some things just doesn't work out the way they are suppose to but i honestly believe Veritas Solicitors left it to late to tell me that my case wasn't going to go to court and yesterday i was told if i went against they advise and went to court of my own back i would have to pay the cost of everything and when i explained to Veritas Solicitors from the start i'm not in a good financial situation where i can afford the costs that would have come along with my case that's why i was greatful i had they help but after receiving the message yestersay it left me feeling angry because i had explained to Veritas Solicitors from the beginning that i didn't have that kind of money so i felt like i was pushed in to a corner and had no choice but to let my landlord win without any consequences.
I am giving my honest opinion and i would say to anyone please be careful because i wouldn't want you to have to go through hell like i have for the past 2years with my landlord then be told 2days before your case is going to court that your case is not strong enough and to drop the case at last minute and the people that's made my life living hell for the past 2years as got away with it and i think it's very unfair because my landlord can afford to pay for the very best of everything so in the end they will always win in my opinion. It's amazing what you can do when you got money.
Thank you Veritas Solicitors for letting me down at last minute after fighting for 2years, The last 2years as been a massive waste of my time and its left me feeling very upset, annoyed and frustrated that i didn't get complete honesty from the beginning.
