Steve was great to deal with, towards the end of the transaction he was very responsive to emails, answered all our questions in depth and it felt like he was really in our corner. I work in the legal sector myself and was very impressed with him.
That being said, I don’t think Steve is a solicitor and I believe the fee earner on our case was called Ashley - whom we had zero communication with. It’s a lot of money to spend to not even speak with the solicitor, but it all worked out in the end!

The whole process from start to finish was seamless and I couldn't fault Shared Direction.
Even though I had troubles with my mortgage offer everyone was very patient, especially Katie in compliance. Also, if I had any questions about the process or asked for an update then my case officer Hannah would be quick to email back. Everyone who had a hand in the file was very professional and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Shared Direction to anyone.

Stephen Crow has been so amazing throughout our experience. I'm sure he had so many cases on his plate but he was always able to provide an update when I requested one. It got stressful towards the end but he was able to give very detailed explanations of what was happening and he worked tirelessly to get us where we needed to be. Very grateful he was a part of the process!

They may be doing a great job, or not. I don’t know because they give nothing other than the occasional automatically generated message. If you hit a bump in the road don’t expect to be told. Don’t expect them to chase information from other solicitors, or give you any information even if you contact by any method. Don’t expect the main office to be any more help than your solicitor. Personally, I’d say give some other solicitor a go.

I feel I pulled the short straw for who was dealing with my purchase. Poor communication, ignored my emails and could not answer the phone/get back to voicemails and they appeared to overlook paperwork- such as telling me how a piece was missing after completion. I would not recommend.
