In 2006 my wife and I had mirror wills drawn up by a solicitor. Like many others we filed them away and never really looked at them again. Our circumstances changed over the years but we never got around to making new ones. In late 2025 my wife died suddenly. In January 2026 I contacted IsLa Law about a new simple will and spoke to Emily Holland, I explained I was partly disabled and she agreed without hesitation to come to my house. Over the next four months due to my wife’s will containing a discretionary trust, Emily came to my house on several occasions either to explain draft documents or for me to sign documents, she even walked to my house in her lunch break to drop off documents. I cannot praise Emily and IsLa Law enough, if I could give them more than five stars l would give them ten+.

We had a lot of help and guidance from ISLA LAW SOLICITORS during a very long journey to get Probate, mostly caused by HMRC. Our only criticism was that there was no holding account for Client's money. This meant we had to open an Appointee Account, which for people with not a great deal of computer skills, caused a lot of stress. We did wonder what happens to those people with no computer skills. Nevertheless, we would recommend them, they did a good job and were honest.

Emily from Isla Law dealt with Probate & the Assent for my Mother. She was very helpful, understanding and explained each stage, the processes and potential timescales. Each step was communicated well and dealt with in a professional and timely manner. We would highly recommend Isla Law and Emily and would not hesitate to use them again.
