I went to Isla Law Solicitors to update my will ahead of a complex surgery. Even when we’re reassured that surgical procedures are routine, there is always an element of risk, and getting my affairs in order was something I wanted to approach with care and peace of mind. Emily Holland was exceptional throughout. She was astute, thorough and highly professional in navigating the legal and technical aspects of updating my will, but what made the experience particularly memorable was the emotional intelligence she brought to the process. There is a vulnerability that comes with preparing for major surgery, and Emily understood that without ever making the experience feel unnecessarily heavy or daunting. She approached everything with genuine compassion, sensitivity and care, while ensuring that every detail was handled with precision. What could have been an emotionally difficult process was instead one of remarkable ease and reassurance. It’s rare to encounter someone who combines such a high level of professional expertise with such genuine humanity.
