We recently had our mirror wills written by Sophie at Daniel and Baker solicitors. The service we received from Sophie was excellent, she was both professional and friendly and explained all legal terms very clearly. Would highly recommend this practice, everything was dealt with so professionally and with such a lovely warm and friendly manner . Thank you Sophie.

Took my money £350 and did absolutely nothing , the monies was for reading my paperwork but when I went for my initial appointment.Mr Ali Knew nothing about my court case I suspect he had a brief glance just before he walked in the room. If Mr Ali or he’s firm say anything in he’s in response to my dismal review of there services , please be assured they will be totally fabricating there response. £350 down the toilet.

Azizur Rahman

Hands-down, the most polite and patient people I've ever had the pleasure of working with;. Aziz Rahman was my solicitor assisted by Hannah Wilde (trainee solicitor) who was my first point of contact. Hannah explained everything clearly, was constantly polite and courteous, and never hesitated to clarify or answer any (what felt like) silly or inane questions. The best part of buying my house was Daniel & Baker.

Excellent service. I would recommend this firm and I would happily use them again. Very efficient and very diligent. Very good value for money.

Contacted this law firm in the hopes of persuing a claim, all seemed well at first and was advised they would take my claim on (August 2025) and received letter of initial instruction detailing this, sent over all my evidence, gave them access to my medical records. Had nothing but complete radio silence since around September 2025 even after numerous attempts at contacting my solicitor and the law firm just for an update, who was supposedly looking into my claim. Every email i sent, ignored. Every phone call to the reception team, i was told “shes out of office at the minute, can i take a message” message was ignored. Whatsapp line, ignored also. Contact attempts totalling 14 times since August 2025 to February 2026. Submitted a formal complaint as a last resort to try and get some kind of update in February 2026 and then 6 weeks later was told that they would not be taking on my claim any more. Communication at this place is so unprofessional it is unreal, now being told they never said they thought my claim was eligible even though i was told this verbally on my call with the solicitor (Sophie Kaushal) and it very clearly outlines in the letter of initial instruction “we shall initiate the claim on your behalf…” & “we are confident you will receive compensation…” Dont bother using these solicitors if you want to be ignored for months and then dropped (probably because you complained, because they wont send any proof of why they are dropping the claim because it was all “verbal”)

I'm happy to share my positive experience with Daniel and Baker solicitors. My finance settlement case after a non-amicable divorce has been long and complicated, but Mahbubha Hannah and Mr. Shujaat Ali have helped me coming to a positive conclusion and finally going ahead with my life (also thanks to a fair judge, who helped both parts reaching a settlement at the second FDR hearing, avoiding further loss of time and expenses). Mahbubha, in particular, has been dealing closely and professionally with a large number of long and complicated correspondences and she guided me professionally through the whole process: she was always replying quickly and accurately to my questions (unlike my previous solicitor). Daniel & Baker also helped me with a honest advice about how to reduce my legal costs, which potentially could have been much worse. I would recommend thinking twice before getting married with the wrong person, but if you are too late for this Daniel and Baker and (hopefully) a fair judge can help you. Just remember that solicitors are only part of the process (literally) and you will always have to actively drive your case and follow it closely step by step. Don't be passive and always discuss all potential options with your solicitor before making a decision. All the best luck!

Dealt with my auction property, very stressful at first as one of their staff members left me in the dark and only had a set time frame for completion but Aziz and Zafar came along and pulled through just bang on deadline or I would have lost my deposit. Very grateful to them as not many people would take the job on due to limited timeframe, but these guys did and got my keys. Looked in depth of everything as well and found some missing documents which were not included in sale and explained procedures and process thoroughly. Great team. Hard to get hold of but good at doing their work, what needs to be done and quick, good at working under pressure (I.e timeframes)

terrible firm. they take cases on and lie for their clients. which they should not be doing. and they send defences to wrong courts. this firm must have paid the university's for their law degrees these people know nothing 😂
