In my experience, communication with Addiess Solicitors was poor. Calls and messages were not returned, which made it difficult to get updates or clarity about my case. When I raised a complaint about this, I felt that the firm did not properly follow their own complaints process. Instead of the concerns being addressed constructively, I was left feeling uncomfortable for having raised the issue in the first place. I had originally chosen this solicitor based on a recommendation from a friend, so it was disappointing that my experience did not reflect that. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not be able to recommend their services.

Employed Rebecca Alexander-Brown for my Will, I had to constantly chase her and ask her for updates, never got back to me. Her email response was " I am incredibly busy at the moment and Alison has been on Jury Service for two weeks so I have been working on my own. I am therefore incredibly behind in every aspect". I just can't stress enough how this would not be acceptable at all where I work. It would be PIP territory for Rebecca. They are incompetent, unprofessional and disorganised. When I made a complaint it fell on deaf ears showing this behaviour is cultural here. Absolutely avoid this firm.

I have recently brought my first home in September 2025. Addies solicitors were recommended to me by family and friends and I could not be happier with the service I received. Everybody I had encounters with either over the phone or in person were friendly and helpful, especially Chelsey Ford who went above and beyond throughout the whole process.

Used for many years on residential sales and purchases and have always been happy with the service and knowledge of this firm. For Mixed Commercial, the process is a bit more involved. I would use Addies again as they are knowledgeable.
