Brilliant service
Christopher Jones was dealing with the sale of my house , this was a really great service and experience every time I called I managed to speak to Christopher I was kept informed of the progression of sale,
From the viewing to the end of exchange and completion 9 weeks 6 days amazing. Christopher stayed in the office until the completion was final 5.22pm with 8 minutes to go on the 31st March. The receptionist were always polite and helpful. I can't praise Gowlings enough. A big thank you to Christopher again . A credit to your company.

Great support during first time purchase
Thank you so much Jonathan and Muneera for your support during my house purchase. This was a great experience, my solicitor and all the firrm's team were very efficient, responsive, helpful and patient. They were very knowledgeable and always found time to chat and explain things to me as a first time buyer. I had full trust in the process which is priceless especially during first purchase. Excellent advice and service provided
It was a pleasure to deal with Hassan. He was very professional, informative and offered a first class service. Hassan provided legal advice that was clear and easy to understand which we really appreciated and also kept us up to date with progress by email and telephone on a regular basis.
Our affairs are now in order which gives us peace of mind and we would definitely recommend Hassan - he was a pleasure to deal with.

Worked hard to assist in a difficult auction purchase
The Auction pack was at fault which was picked up early and gowlings pushed this issue and the fault of the Auction company that had failed to list the property correctly.
The issue was sorted at no extra expense to myself thanks to the tenacity of Julie Thomas.
The completion nearly a year later was finalised but Suzanne and Radhika who were always happy to answer my questions and help my own understanding.

Awful experience - do not recommend at all
Our experience using Gowlings was nothing but stress. The team in charge of our case were not competent at all and ultimately ended with us withdrawing on the day the vendor decided to notify us that moving vans had been booked (this was booked prior to our notice). yet our solicitors didnt tell us anything. Apparently they were not even aware that the vendor was ready to exchange...
They constantly dodged phone calls from known numbers but immediately answered calls from unknown numbers. They did not respond to emails in a timely manner. They did not provide updates or a plan of action for chasing the vendor / vendors solicitors.
Our estate agent knew before us that the vendor was ready to exchange (we had already pulled out at this point). we lost a lot of time and money using Gowlings. never again.
