Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with your experience. We would like to clarify that our fees are agreed on a fixed-fee basis at the outset of the matter. In your case, the agreed fee of £2,000 covered preparation of your case and representation at up to two court hearings, which was clearly set out in our client care documentation and explained at the start of your instruction. Unfortunately, your matter was adjourned on two separate occasions by the court, which was outside of both your control and ours. This resulted in a third hearing being listed. As this fell outside the scope of the agreed fixed fee, we advised that an additional fee would be required to secure counsel for that further hearing. We appreciate that court adjournments can be frustrating; however, they do not alter the terms of the agreed fee structure, which is standard practice and transparently communicated from the outset. We note your comments regarding representation at the final hearing and are sorry that you feel disappointed with the outcome. We always aim to provide clear advice and representation in line with the agreed terms.
