We initially instructed BHW because they were the preferred solicitors recommended by our housing developer. Unfortunately, this proved to be a very disappointing experience. Throughout the process, I had to repeatedly chase for updates and often felt as though my enquiries were an inconvenience. Communication was inconsistent, with different individuals responding each time, making it difficult to obtain clear and reliable information. To make matters worse, six months after our purchase had completed, we were contacted and informed that an additional payment was allegedly outstanding. We challenged this, as it seemed unreasonable that completion would have been permitted if there had genuinely been an unpaid balance at the time. Overall, we found the service to be poorly managed and lacking in professionalism. Based on our experience, I would not recommend BHW and would encourage others to consider alternative solicitors who can provide a more efficient, responsive, and organised service.
