Arranging Lasting Power of Attorneys for my husband and myself

We could not have asked for a better service in all respects. Everything was explained in an understandable way with great care and professionalism and at every stage there was ample time for questions which were answered clearly and to our satisfaction. Before signing, the documents were read to us and opportunity given to make some small adjustments. The process which initially had seemed somewhat daunting could not have been easier.

Kindness

We recently asked Jane to create our wills. This is something that can bring all sorts of emotions to the surface and can feel a bit daunting. Jane took the time to talk us through the sometimes complicated wording, and ensured our wills said exactly what we wanted them to. She talked us through all the possible eventualities with kindness, patience and understanding, and we always felt that our queries were valued and never trivialised. Often we talk about services in terms of efficiency and speed, but more than that, Jane's kindness and patience was so appreciated.
Ruth, Jane's paralegal is a little ray of sunshine - thank you both for making something that was at times emotional, a positive experience.

I recently embarked on Will construction under the guidance of solicitor Jessica Latimer. Throughout the process she was warm, engaging, professional and efficient. A joy to work with. Writing a will makes one ponder on surreal and unusual experiences and planning, but Jessica guided me on the path and even managing to add a dash of humour to take away some hard edges. Jessica is a real credit to Johnson Astills. She has a bright legal future ahead of her.

Mum’s Probate

We contacted Johnson Astills to deal with our mum’s estate. It was the best decision we could have made. At what is a very difficult time it was good to get professional help to deal with matters regarding probate when we were only concerned with dealing with our loss.
We cannot fault the service and advice given and would thoroughly recommend Johnson Astills and we are now dealing with their Property Team as well. A special thanks to Jane Hinds and Kate Pettit who we’re a pleasure to deal with.

My wife and I decided to set up a formal will through a solicitor and approached Johnson Astills Solicitors as part of the Free Wills Month initiative. We found the whole process stress free primarily as a result of the professional and friendly service we received.
