I cannot recommend Hodge Jones & Allen Solicitors highly enough. They represented me in approximately 23 separate incidents relating to my Kirpan, and throughout every case they were nothing short of exceptional. My solicitor, Sebastian, was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, he took the time to understand not only the legal issues involved, but also the religious and cultural significance of carrying a Kirpan as an article of faith. He treated my case with the seriousness, respect, and professionalism it deserved. In court, Sebastian was superb. The questions he and counsel put to the police were precise, incisive, and incredibly effective. It was clear that they had thoroughly prepared every aspect of the case and were committed to ensuring that my rights were properly defended. What impressed me most was Sebastian’s dedication. We are absolutely furious with Hodge Jones & Allen Solicitors! We came to them desperate for help with a serious legal problem that was destroying the safety, privacy and dignity of a vulnerable and disabled woman. They claim on their website they fight for justice, civil liberties and hold powerful people accountable. What a load of empty words! We sent them a few polite emails asking for help about equality and human rights. Suddenly we get this nasty reply from their "Client Care Team" saying we made "repeated" enquiries and they don't have capacity "repeatedly". Then they threaten to block our emails and our IP address forever if we dare contact them again! Because of their refusal to even listen, her situation will get much worse. She was left scared, confused and under huge stress while important deadlines are fast approaching. Their cold threat just made everything ten times more stressful. How is this "fighting for rights"? This firm talks big about justice but when a real person needs help with discrimination and human rights they slam the door and threaten to block you. Total hypocrisy! BE WARNED about Hodge Jones & Allen at all costs. They didn't care about our vulnerable and disabled woman. Save yourself the anger and disappointment and find somewhere that actually means what they say. (And we wish we were able to share the screenshot of their threatening email so everyone can see how they treat people in need). Be Warned and Stay Safe!

I engaged HJA in Oct 2017 for a Personal Injury No Win No fee claim and this was to be taken to the court however I learnt in March 2023 recently that my case handler was not being honest with me for over 3 years and she neither informed the insurance company nor did she file my case in the court. She left the firm and the partner wrote me a curt mail just telling me that nothing can be done to my case and that I should seek further legal advice, without offering any apology or intention to make up for their fault. Rather than putting things right by paying my complete claim value and compensation, they are devaluing my claim amount and trying to get away with a smaller amount. Very unprofessional and bad service. Firm had a responsibility to ensure that they act in the best interest of their clients but they have clearly failed and are not even apologetic about it.
