My experience has been very thorough and professional from the start through the competition.
After struggling to cope with dealing with an inheritance, we requested help from Garner&Hancock. The overall management of our needs was handled by Jakub Kotan. This involved deaing with properties in three countries (sale, conveyancing, etc.), dealing with the authorities abroad, bringing in colleagues where necessary to help with taxes, our own will writing and power of attorney requirements. Under Jakub's guidance, we had contact with a number of his colleagues and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following people for their help: Matthew Goddard, Gurdev Mann, Tiana Stewart, Komal Soni, Kiran Walia, Nigel George, Natalie Meehan, Imogen Cotter, Chloe Melling, Charne Rossouw and Massimo Cairo - my sincere apologies to anyone I may have missed. All the members of staff we contacted were highly professional, polite, friendly and effective. Despite not being the easiest clients to deal with, we are very happy with the help received. Once again, thanks to everybody. One final point, we already have Garner&Hancock on speed-dial for when the next of us "shuffle(s) of this mortal coil".
My wife and I have been dealing with Garner and Hancock for a few years now, well before and long after the death of an elderly cousin of mine in London. We had extensive interactions with the firm in person during visits to my cousin in London from our home in Melbourne. We were very impressed by how professional, understanding and helpful they were to my cousin during a difficult and traumatic period of her life and a stressful phase of our life too as we sought to help her to get her affairs in order. Much of our correspondence occurred by email, particularly after her death. As Garner and Hancock meticulously and professionally worked through a myriad of issues ands problems for us, they kept us in the loop and always sought our approval for their proposed course of action. Althogh we were on the other side of the world, we knew we were in good hands and the company settled all the outstanding matters for us in a manner that was totally professional, outstanding in terms of communication and the confidence which their approach afforded for us in a difficult set of circumstances. We can thoroughly recommend Garner and Hancock and we are very grateful to the company and its excellent staff.

I instructed Garner & Hancock Siolicitors to handle the Probate and tax matters relating to my late brother's Estate. I was introduced to Massimo Cairo, Trusts and Estates Executive, who l found to be polite and courteous, very professional and knowledgeable . Massimo was always very helpful and speedy to respond to any queries l raised and, most importantly, kept me informed of the progress of the process throughout. There was also transparency with regard to fees and admin costs and how these arose. I am very grateful to Massimo and his team who took on the paperwork required to get Probate and dealt with HMRC to settle the tax associated with the Estate, thereby taking away from me alll the stress of the situation. Arrogant, poor advice, slow and expensive. This firm should be avoided. It’s odd that you say you have no record of me as a client. You took over £20k in fees from my Mother’s estate. Your statement is untrue.

I had a probate sale to process and, having good experiences with Garner & Hancock in the past, chose them to deal with it. The team working on this (Gurdev, Komal and Tiana) worked diligently. I was greatly impressed with their professionalism and efficiency to bring the matter to a successful conclusion without delay, despite being under Covid-lockdown for most of the time. I am very happy with the service I received.
