I worked with Becky and Elyse for 9 months - my case involved an ex with narcissistic personality. Immediately, from my first meeting with Becky I felt she under my case, she made me feel heard, supported and empowered. She made me feel like I was in the driving seat throughout, even though I was the respondent. Becky was fantastic at explaining the process but also at chunking the information so it wasn’t too overwhelming. Becky’s communication was clear, diligent and timely. I always felt like I was Becky’s number 1 priority. Her attention to detailed was excellent, the documents I had to prepare for the court in all three hearings always reflected exactly mine and my children’s concerns, she was always willing to change and adapt anything so that it was just right, nothing was ever sent unless I was 100% happy. Becky worked tirelessly to ensure I got the right outcome for my children. Elyse was also central behind the scenes ensuring court deadlines were met and communication between parties was efficient and effective. By the time my case was over Becky felt like a friend as well as my solicitor and I can’t thank her enough for her work and professionalism. I am so glad I made that initial call.
The advice I received from day 1 has been excellent. My arbitration result was close, or even better, than the advice I was given. Andrew and Emily were excellent throughout

Divorce can be a horrendous thing, especially whilst dealing with my narcissist ex. Andrew and Rebekah were clear, calm, consistent, quick to react when needed, exceptionally thorough, wonderfully supportive and with that they kept my head held high. It's tough out there. Don't mess around just call Harrogate Family Law!!! You don't need to go elsewhere.....

Laura at HFL was a pleasure to work with through a very difficult time, and the whole team pulled out all the stops when it was needed. One of the main strong points was that Laura always responded quickly (unlike the other side) and if she was unable to, this was made clear. She was also very reassuring when I needed emotional support. The fees involved in divorce, especially if it goes to court, are astronomical, and I cannot make comparisons; all I can say is that HFL kept me fully informed of the situation regarding anticipated costs and the likely benefits of continuing. The comments we had from the other side regarding Laura's tenacity and acumen were testimony to her as a solicitor. I would recommend her and her team highly .
