We started using core legal for a house sale amongst family members. It wasn’t the most straightforward of sales but once core legal (Mehak) started to lead the process it was plain sailing. I would definitely recommend them and her to anyone thinking about which solicitors to use. Outstanding

Our remortgage was handled swiftly, efficiently and with minimum fuss. The service was excellent throughout and any issues / concerns were ironed out immediately (there were not many). When written messages required follow-up, calls were answered and matters being discussed addressed without issue. The process was as stress free as it could be, which is testament to the staff involved with handling our case (particularly, Vivi Tzouda - who was outstanding). Would use again without reservation. Recommended.

We have used Core Legal in the past to buy our property, so from that positive experience we entrusted them again when it came to selling. They are professional, trusted and made the process smooth and quick. Certainly would recommend in relation to buying and selling your property.

I really don't believe in any of the 5 stars comments in here... We dealt with at least 5 employees from this ridiculous company and none of them deserves even one star! We have bought and sold a few properties in the past years but what Core Legal has put us through is indescribable! In a very short version, our house wasn't registered with the Land Registry at all, and part of the property wasn't included in the purchase contract at all and we found it only when we were trying to sell it! Almost 4 years post completion and we still have to deal with them. Horribly rude and unprofessional people. Every single step of the process has been very difficult and stressful. What my partner and I went through is really difficult to describe. We had to exchange around 200 emails (post completion!) and I'm not able to even count the phone calls. We are currently taking legal steps towards them, as they didn't even bother to reply to our official complaint. We not only incurred financial losses but and were disrespected and... intimidated! When we mentioned that we will be seeking compensation through legal ways, we were told that they will do the same to us! The "solicitor" we dealt the most with ended up being reported for misconduct and unprofessional behaviour. Can't stress it enough that you should avoid them at all cost!

Very slow in the conveyancing of a simple re-mortgage. I complained then got told off by one of the directors for complaining. I made a formal complaint which hasn't been delt with so I'll go to the ombudsman now.

I am very happy with the conveyancing service provided by Core Legal York Office - they did an excellent job in conveyancing my purchase of a property. It took less than 7 weeks to complete on the 31 March 2025 just in time right before the increase in Stamp Duty taxes, saving me in higher SDLT. I am very pleased with how the Core Legal team worked together Vivi, Ellie, Matthew to provide updates and running the process smoothly. I am glad I was referred to them, will definitely use their services again and recommend their services.

It took Core legal 6 weeks to complete my purchase. I was referred by my broker who stated they completed all his clients really quickly, I checked the reviews and was a little nervous but trusted his judgement. First week, I missed the digital profile log in details, once I logged in and completed all the documents, it took Vivi exactly 5 weeks to finish everything. I collected my keys today. They never missed a call or email from me, the digital profile was telling me exactly at what stage we were at and what to expect next. Thank you for looking after my family and myself 🫶 Vivi you were amazing!

I would strongly recommend in not using them, I had to deal with the documents and majority of the sale, they were delaying it and had I not chased I would not have brought the property in time. They taken almost three years to provide the title reg which I had to chase on. Not good at all and I’ve asked my mortgage advisor to not provide them to other customers.
