I have used Lesley since 2012 and always found her to be professional and very helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending Lesley Purveur if you need solid/practical legal advice. My last instructions with Lesley was handled perfectly by her and I was VERY happy with the outcome of her advice and letter to a confidential individual. In summary we are very lucky to have an excellent solicitor in Newark and would recommend with any hesitation to my friends, family and trusted business contacts.

We hired Lesley Purveur to help us with a very tricky/dishonest tenant living in our property. It was an extremely stressful, draining time which continued for over two years.Throughout the process, Lesley listened to our wishes and worries and was extremely helpful and reassuring. Her communication was excellent and always prompt. She managed to sort all the correct paperwork( which was a huge bundle to the judge at the county court!) in preparation for the court case and dealt with a very difficult ex husband and a very apathetic council housing officer. The tenant was finally evicted by the local court bailiff’s with Lesley’s watchful eye .We are so grateful for Lesley’s hard work
and sheer professionalism and highly recommend her service.

Sensible, pragmatic advice given throughout, with realistic expectations. Speed of response was very good, and I was kept informed of costs. The letters written by Lesley Purveur during the process were precise and eloquent, well thought-out; and firmly polite in correcting the ‘other side’ without being inflammatory.

Wow if you want a tough firm of solicitors then look no further!

This review is for a different branch.

I instructed Lesley Purveur from Larkens in Newark to take on a case of someone breaching a contract.

Well so much to say & so little space to put it but from the offset she has been like a rabied animal never giving in to the other sides solicitor whatsoever.

I would hate to of been on the receiving end of what she was firing at the other side as each time the other side were caught lying at every turn (which we could provide evidence each time proving their lies) & never once did she let go of the case.

Yes hiring a solicitor like this is not cheap nor is it stress free & ill be honest the whole thing took me to some very dark places but she was utterly brilliant throughout & to be fair i loved that about her & her professionalism was first class, reminded me of the headmistress we were all petrified of lol.

Well done Larkens for getting this over the line and most importantly in our favour & Lesley if you read this then i am forever indebted to you for your kindness to me & flawless service from the start.

Acting as administrators for a close family members estate, my wife and I are grateful for the sound clear advice and patient approach from Larken and Co, in resolving what is now becoming a common problem, Will contention.

Despite most of the work taking place during the various Covid lockdowns, but despite this we were kept fully informed and updated of progress on the case, ultimately leading to the wishes of the late family member being carried out to the letter.

We would not hesitate in recommending Larken and Co.
