The firm specialises in conveyancing, immigration and visa work, asylum and human rights, family law and commercial property, alongside general legal services such as name changes and powers of attorney. Clients praise strong legal expertise, efficiency and successful outcomes. Valued soft skills include clear communication, responsiveness, professionalism, honesty, empathy and supportive guidance, with attentive, organised teams who keep clients informed, reduce stress and deliver timely, practical solutions.
I had an excellent experience with Alisha at ASL. From the beginning to the completion of my purchase, she handled everything professionally and made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and straightforward. Although there were a few occasions when I couldn’t reach her immediately by phone, she always ensured that everything was dealt with promptly and kept the process moving. Every question I had was answered, all the paperwork was handled efficiently, and she stayed on top of every stage of the transaction. What impressed me most was how seamless and stress-free the entire process was. We completed sooner than I expected, and I truly believe that was down to Alisha’s organisation, dedication, and attention to detail. She was proactive, knowledgeable, and gave me confidence throughout the purchase. It’s even more impressive to know that she was a trainee solicitor. She worked with such professionalism and commitment that I would never have guessed. She is a real credit to the firm. Thank you, Alisha, for all your hard work and support. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you and ASL solicitors to anyone looking for a reliable, efficient, and professional conveyancing service. Five stars well deserved!

Home buyer/seller who had successfully used this company 6ish years ago. This time round, absolutely applauding from start to (left them before we completed our purchase due to the lack of incompetency ) finish. Complete lack of action and communication from the beginning, with two different solicitors assigned during our time with them. The number of errors would have been described as “too much to be believable” if I were writing a comedy about an incompetent solicitors firm….incorrect email to send docs to, saying they had not been instructed despite us transferring over £1000 and being months into the process and conducting searches to the wrong property. Using this firm cost us months worth of time on our purchase/sale, an indescribable amount of stress and time chasing not actioned tasks by this firm, plus the time of other solicitors/ estate agents chasing for a response. This resulted in our sellers nearly pulling out and leaving us within a 3 day window of our (extended) mortgage offer expiring due to this firms delay. Quite genuinely I cannot have imagined a worse experience with a company, this is my first ever negative review of any company ever, which shows how strongly I feel about warning people about ASL. The solicitors who we used after them were great and made us realise what a shocking experience we had with this firm. Knowing what we know now even if ASL offered their services for free I would avoid them like the plague, again I cannot really describe the stress and delay that using this firm caused. Do NOT use
Exceptional service from Waqar. Keeps you updated with every step. Rapid responses with any questions or querys. Masha'Allah finalised everything under 2 weeks. Recommended to all friends and family.

Hello Fahmid, Thank you so much for your review and recommendation. I am thrilled to hear that the team kept you up to date and provided excellent service. We hope to hear from you in the future, should you require our services again.
Jack Caley made my experience as a first time buyer completely stress free. I was nervous and had so many questions as this was my first time buying a home, but Jack was always quick to respond and great at explaining each step of the process clearly. I was advised by several people to ‘chase’ solicitors, as some can take a very long time to get things done. However, I never needed to do this with Jack, as he was always ten steps ahead and kept everything moving smoothly. Thank you so much for all your support, Jack. I really appreciate everything you did to make what could have been a stressful experience so much easier!
Hello, Zee. Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you were happy with the service provided by Jack. Our team is committed to providing clear communication, dedicated support, and a smooth experience.

Thank you for your 5-star review. It means a lot to our hard-working team to know that our clients are happy!
I had a very positive experience with the service I received regarding my house purchase. Waqar Khan was extremely helpful, professional, and supportive throughout the whole process. He explained everything clearly and guided me step by step, which made the whole process much easier and less stressful for me. Whenever I had questions or was unsure about anything, he was always helpful and took the time to explain things properly. The communication and updates were also excellent. I was kept informed throughout the process and always knew what was happening and what the next steps were. I really appreciated the way Waqar handled everything professionally and efficiently. Overall, I am very happy with the service I received. Waqar Khan provided an excellent service from start to finish and made the house-buying process much smoother for me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and helpful solicitor. Thank you, Waqar, for all your hard work and excellent service!

Contacted ASL solicitors in order to help with the process of a name change by deed poll. I was forwarded to Maria Khaliq, and what a fantastic help she was! She advised me another option would be much simpler & gave the best guidance . She made me feel at ease and can’t thank her enough.
