Anila dealt with the purchase of our property and it was a pleasure dealing with her. We found her friendly, approachable, always quick to reply to any concerns/issues with expert advice as well as common sense and explaining things properly not just expecting you to understand legal terms. Anila was also very reassuring and definitely calmed our worries on several occasions. The venders solicitor and agent were not the nicest of people to deal with to say the least, however Anila dealt with any correspondences, which were many, in a calm professional manner. We would definitely recommend and work with Anila again.

Helen West handled two quite drawn out and complicated property sales for me over the past year, and she was excellent throughout. She was thorough, easy to deal with, and always really helpful and responsive. I always felt like she was 'only one phone call away'. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, even when things became more complex and tricky. I’ve been involved in property for over 20 years and worked with many solicitors, so I don’t say this lightly -Helen really stands out. She is a gem!

I engaged Constantine & Summers for an executor sale of a leasehold flat after they had impressed me with writing a Will for the deceased. The sale ran into legal difficulties raised by the buyers' pedantic solicitors that took some effort to resolve. Anila was friendly and professional throughout the protracted process and we eventually completed after 11 months. My only criticism was that we lost 6 weeks in summer when little work was done to respond to the buyers' queries despite pressure from the buyers who were in danger of being turned out of their rented accommodation. Had this not been the case, the legal obstacle would have been uncovered earlier. Emails were not answered and phone calls not returned. My estate agent intervened and we discovered that Anila had been taken off my job to cover for a colleague and then gone on leave. Another colleague was assigned to take over but evidently did little as Anila picked up where we left off when she returned. They lose a star for that. Anila herself was a pleasure to deal with. She obtained a much cheaper indemnity policy than the buyers had quoted and successfully got the Land Registry to expedite the registration of a Deed.

I cannot praise this company high enough. We've used Couchman Hanson for both conveyancing and litigation and both times they were fantastic. For Conveyancing, Nadine is an absolute star and a professional who goes that extra mile and always with a smile. I like the fact that Nadine will call us and explain things or update us rather than just send an email. She is our 'go to' person for conveyancing and I am just sorry it took 2 aborted purchases to then finally get one over the line - thank you Nadine so much for your patience and perseverance :-)

I've used Couchman Hanson a number of times over the last 10 years or so that I've lived in Hindhead. I have used for my personal and business needs, everything from wills and conveyancing through to producing legal contracts and service agreements. The team in Haslemere have always been friendly, prompt and responsive as well as giving clear advice and added value. I can't recommend them highly enough. When, like me you don't necessarily need a solicitor's firm often, it's great to have one on the doorstep that you can trust.

I recently used Couchman Hanson’s Farnham office for my house purchase, they made the whole process so much easier than I expected. The team was really responsive.They kept everything on track and made sure I always knew what the next step was, which took a lot of the stress out of the process. Conveyancing - In a day and age where it is so hard to talk to anyone, it was refreshing to find Nadine always on hand / just a quick call away and always able to deal with and answer any questions in a quick and efficient manor. Nadine always kept us up to date and it became immediately apparent that she is both very skilled and takes great pride in her work. The house move was quick and painless and we attribute that almost entirely to Nadine's hard work, keen eye and efficiency.
