“On learning I was being taken to court after my daughters father had cancelled mediation because he wasn't getting the outcome he wanted made me feel anxious, stressed and very upset. I met with Jackie who put it all into perspective and helped me understand that I hadn't done anything wrong and the situation was difficult. I explained that the request of additional time wasn't something my daughter wanted and that I was there for her. My daughters father moved the goal posts multiple time during the hearing and was very difficult to deal with. Having Jackie and a barrister's support during the whole process helped me cope with the situation and how they represented my daughter and me was second to none. They were straight to the point and kind and always acted in our best interest, which provided the best outcome for my daughter.
