Statutory rights for consumers cover the basic protections you have when goods are faulty, not as described, or when a service is poorly performed. A solicitor practising in this area helps you identify the exact rights you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and related legislation, determines the proper remedy (repair, replacement, or refund), and negotiates with retailers or service providers. They may draft formal complaints, advise on deadlines, and help pursue enforcement or small-claims remedies where needed.

“I think when getting Legal advice it can be a real mistake to go for the cheapest price! I am glad I did not do that and instructed Pool Alcock to act on my behalf in a land dispute. Everything was left to them and this resulted in winning my case - it looked like the person I was in dispute with went for the 'cheaper' Solicitor... A special mention for one of the partners Daniel Brookes who was superb from start to finish. Highly recommended..........”

“I emailed Abdul all the information, his reply started: Given the amount you’re seeking to recover, it would be disproportionate for us to assist you formally. Nevertheless, I would like to provide some general guidance to you free of charge. Wow, followed with a 400 word synopsis stating the legal aspects etc. Together with a copy of a before court letter to send the oppression. I cannot believe all this work was free of charge, Abdul had a clear understanding of the situation which must of taken some time.”
