Sarah-Jane qualified in 2008 and joined the Firm as an Associate in 2016 following ten years with her previous Firm before being promoted to Partner and Head of Department in 2018. During her career, she has undertaken a “mixed bag” of litigation work from simple debt recovery actions to international insurance commercial litigation.
Sarah-Jane is perfectly placed to help commercial and private clients in resolving any disputes they may have. She has a working knowledge of the Court rules and systems as well as dealing directly with Alternative forms of Dispute Resolution, for example Mediations and Expert Determinations.
Sarah-Jane is a commercially realistic lawyer and is aware that disputes and litigation can often be expensive. In seeking to find a swift resolution, Sarah-Jane seeks to keep costs to a minimum and allows clients to concentrate on their businesses and personal lives without seeking to add to the already stressful situation. Whilst robust in her dealings with other parties when necessary, Sarah-Jane takes a gentler approach of taking the time to get to understand her Client’s objectives and seeks to work together to achieve those goals.
However, if litigation is necessary, Sarah-Jane’s skills and knowledge are utilised to give the Client the best outcome available to them, including wherever possible recovering the costs the Clients have expended in legal fees.

I used Poole Alcock after also reading reviews. I must say they are expensive and I'm sure I could have used other solicitors for a fraction of the cost. That being said, I clicked with Sarah Jane from the start. As well as being professional and knowledgeable, she came across as being someone who cares for your wellbeing. Sarah Jane also took time to explain things in a way that anyone without a law degree, would understand. On the whole , Sarah Jane and her team were people whom I would contact again if the need arose.

Review of Poole Alcock solicitor Sarah-Jane Dunhill.
Poole Alcock was our original solicitor in 1988/89 to assist with emigration. When I then required representation 3 decades later I did not hesitate to return to them. Sarah- Jane Dunhill has been a wonderful in supporting me and offering the best guidance. Feasability of contesting a LWT
Sarah Jane phoned me dead on the time I had agreed with her assistant and from the 1st Hello, I was immediately put at ease by her friendly and professional manner. I had previously given a brief outline of my case to her assistant and after I had answered a few of her well directed questions, she was quickly up to speed and able to discuss the Pro’s & Con’s of contesting the LWT, I could not have wished for better advice, delivered with more clarity, I will not hesitate to engage her legal services in the future.

Wills Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney
we found the overall approach to the matter concerned was given a full detailed questions and answered response and with the information provided on the issues that there was a full understanding of our position and that of the other side. Sarah J Dunhill then gave us several options to approach the problem which we were to decide upon.
The overall outcome was that we were completely satisfied with the closure.

Difficult house sale and separation
Sarah Jane helped me out with a very difficult situation involving a house sale and the proceeds to be split between myself and my ex. It wasn't cheap...but in this day and age you get what you pay for. I got a more than satisfactory outcome and closure. These guys are experts and can run rings round most other firms. I'd highly recommend. Thank you.
