Helen is a Partner in our leading Family Law team and is adept at advising clients in all areas of family law, including marriage and relationship breakdown, matrimonial finances, arrangements for children, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and co-habitation agreements. As a Resolution Accredited Specialist and a Resolution trained Collaborative Law practitioner, Helen has a particular interest in helping families to resolve matters in a way that enables them to move forwards positively. Helen is focused on ensuring that any children are at at the forefront of decision making and that the impact on children and the family as a whole is minimised. In a recent case Helen acted for a father in successfully defending a difficult case involving relocation of a child to a choice of locations, both within and outside of the jurisdiction. The Judge determined that the child must remain living close to the father to enable the child to maintain a relationship with the father and the wider paternal family.
