DISHONEST, NOT TRANSPARENT AND INEFFICIENT

I employed this firm to agree a post-nup. They quoted me a fixed fee and I checked three times that this fee covered everything.
Throughout the process they have been unresponsive, difficult to contact and incredibly slow.
The agreement was amicable, my husband and I didn't need advice and we made slight amendments to the document only four times. All amendments were tracked so very easy and not time consuming. When we had the final document my solicitor told me she was unable to review and sign because, due to the number of amendments (most of which were done by my husbands solicitor) this now fell out of the fixed fee contract which is only applicable to the 'original' document - clearly until the document was drawn up, which is what i employed them for, there was no 'original' document. They gave me a reduction in extra fees but I was forced to pay £700 in addition to the fixed fee. Had I not done so they wouldn't have signed off on the document. It felt very much like being held to ransom.
The fixed fee contract should be much more clear.

Fast, Efficient and Friendly

I needed a new Will and after sending an initial email enquiry, someone from Poole Alcock rang me within 30 mins, and got everything set up for me to speak to a Solicitor regarding all the details.
All my questions were answered, everyone was very approachable and I was very happy with the outcome.

After being dangerously close to losing a mortgage due to the actions of another solicitor (SAS Daniels, Stockport), Kate Heath and her team saved the day! As a landlord dealing with conveyancy solicitors is something I usually regard as a necessary evil, in this case the experience was entirely painless - the most quick, efficient and communicative conveyancy team I've come across. I have since recommended Kate on property networks and will definitely be using her again for future purchases.
