Litigation Matter: Stables
I had a telephone consultation with Dan Brooks, a partner in the litigation team. He provided excellent advice which took on board all of the facts as I had explained them, he put my mind at reast about the matter and eased my anxiety over what has been a difficult time for me. He clearly explained the pros and cons of further action and explained the fees and next steps should I wish to instruct. Rather than press me to go ahead, he advised that on balance, I shouldn't. I think that other firms may well have advised a costly but pointless exercise in interest of their bottom line. Thanks Dan!

Potential Compensation Claim
We contacted Dan having used your firm for the recent sale and purchase of our house using your firm. We required Corporate Litigation to try and get back £4300 we paid to rent a house for 6 weeks that was not fit for purpose. Dan was always straight with us in our dealings and eventually we agreed that on a cost benefit analysis basis, we would have to drop the case - it could have cost nearly £10000 to pursue and not get the costs back. My only concern is the fees involved - £350 per hour plus VAT is way out of the reach of ordinary people such as ourselves and stops them from pursuing justice - just a thought.

BPA Services Limited would like to give this testimonial to Dan Brooks a partner of Poole Alcock as we were looking at recruiting someone but hit a glitch regarding visa status.
I contacted Dan regarding the situation and having asked me the questions he needed answering to gauge the situation Dan went away and along with his team looked at various options before coming back to me.

Friendly, timely and honest.
