I just wanted to write to you to say thank you for the fantastic service that you and your team have provided so far with HR Assist. I think the product is fantastic and couldn't be without it. In addition, i expected it to be expensive but it really is not. I didn't think that Owl Projects needed a service like HR Assist, until I had cause to call you for advice on an employment law matter. It was that conversation that triggered my interest in taking up HR Assist and I am so glad we did! I didn't realise how exposed we were to having a claim made against us. I now have peace of mind knowing that all of our HR needs are taken care of and that all of our contracts, handbooks, documents and processes are kept up to date by specialist solicitors. I would heavily recommend Poole Alcock and HR Assist to any business. It’s scary how quickly the law changes and things become out of date. I didn't understand how massive the area of HR is. I don’t have to worry about that anymore.

The dispute related to an offending article was dealt with very efficiently indeed within a very short period of time by Mr Emerson resulting in a very positive result which was a great relief to me as I had initially thought it was going to be a very long drawn out dispute. Excellent.

I was unfortunate to be party to an unfeasible TUPE transfer resulting in a Settlement Agreement needing to be legally checked. My timescale was very tight due to pre-booked annual leave overlapping the submission deadline. FJG were the only solicitor out of three who responded to my enquiry immediately. Joe Sandercock took the case and I can honestly say from start to finish he was none other than amazing! I had an appointment within a day (thank you Hannah), he’d pre-checked the document in advance ready to go through each paragraph with me in detail. He removed untenable clauses where necessary and requested additional wording be included for clarity. Advice was clear, ensuring I understood every section before signing and accepting the offer. He was empathetic throughout the whole process, very professional and mindful of the timescale. Needless to say all amendments were carried out with speed and efficiency and we got it over the line allowing me to breathe out for my holiday. I would have no hesitation in recommending Joe for any work of this nature, he really did take the stress out of an unfortunate situation of which I was very grateful.

The divorce process between my wife and myself started out on relatively amicable terms and we agreed and documented all matters that needed to be resolved between us. The involvement of her new partner and the subsequent appointment of a solicitor significantly changed the dynamic and everything that had been agreed was suddenly revoked. After two years of wrangling I engaged Stowe Family Law out of desperation and the world suddenly got a lot clearer. I got a far better understanding of my position, rights and how various matters could be progressed and resolved. The minute Stowe got involved, the other solicitors quietened down. All outstanding matters were resolved and the divorce completed within 6 months.
