At the beginning of the long process for Michael to be granted Leave to Remain we understood the basic legitimacy of our case but were completely unprepared for how complicated and protracted the Home Office process was. All of our friends and my family members were fully behind Michael being given the leave to remain and to make a new life in UK with the person he loved the most.
