Great service updating our will after 18 years if marriage to include children etc, options mentioned include provision of who would look after kids if me and my wife were involved in an accident and did nit survive. Yes horrible thought but practical to mention so we could include a close friend as designated carer if anything did happen.

I got in touch with Clark Willis to have Mirror Wills updated under the free wills service, through Marie Curie. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. A home visit was organised to draft the Wills and our Solicitor, Negar, was very professional, friendly and explained everything we needed to know in order to proceed with our wishes. The drafts of the Wills were posted out to check and another home visit arranged in which Negar and her secretary came to go through and witness the signing of the final document. I used Paul to draft my Will which was relatively complex because I wished it to create, if necessary, a vulnerable person trust for my wife who is in 24 hour nursing care and unable to look after herself. I then wished the residual estate to be divided between family and other personal beneficiaries and charitable bequests. Paul took great care to understand my wishes and then to explain the draft Will and associated Letter of Wishes. All done speedily and sympathetically.

The divorce process between my wife and myself started out on relatively amicable terms and we agreed and documented all matters that needed to be resolved between us. The involvement of her new partner and the subsequent appointment of a solicitor significantly changed the dynamic and everything that had been agreed was suddenly revoked. After two years of wrangling I engaged Stowe Family Law out of desperation and the world suddenly got a lot clearer. I got a far better understanding of my position, rights and how various matters could be progressed and resolved. The minute Stowe got involved, the other solicitors quietened down. All outstanding matters were resolved and the divorce completed within 6 months.
