Financial Peace of Mind

As a retired couple in our 60s with grown up children, we decided the time was right to make sure our financial affairs were in order with regards to inheritance planning and LPAs. We approached Walker Foster to seek advice regarding setting up Lasting Power of Attorney and also updating our wills. Lee at Walker Foster handled both matters for ourselves and we were happy that we received the best advice on both matters.

Good investment !

Prior to the consultation I was making critical assumptions which were incorrect, which would have been costly in both financial and non financial terms.
I also received negotiating positions I had not considered, potentially resulting in savings.
There was more formality than I was initially expecting, but the overall feeling was it was warm and personal.
Great investment.

House sale

Claire Lodge was our assigned Solicitor in selling a property for my husband and I. Claire's work is to a very high standard and although there was continued delays for the buyers Solicitors , Claire ensured that we were updated and informed of all delays and advised us to a very high standard.

The second time I have used Walker Foster (Skipton) for a property transaction and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Very happy to recommend this firm - I have recently completed two property sales, and both times I used Mariette Marren in Walker Foster’s Skipton office. I recently used Walker Foster Solicitors for a transfer. The transfer was not straight forward and had its implication's, to which Claire from WF dealt with in a timely and very professional manner.
