I dealt with Emily at Winston Solicitors. She helped sort out a deed of variation to amend my mothers Will so that her shares in the business passed on to a Trust which helped benefit my four children. She was very effecient, quick to reply and overall a 10 out of 10 experience. I have dealth with many solicitors in the past but Winston are by far the best company I have dealt over the years...they gave a fixed price and were very helpful/professional. Would recommend to anyone!

Great service updating our will after 18 years if marriage to include children etc, options mentioned include provision of who would look after kids if me and my wife were involved in an accident and did nit survive. Yes horrible thought but practical to mention so we could include a close friend as designated carer if anything did happen.

We recently purchased a property from a bank following a repossession in Northallerton. The bank stipulated a tight deadline following our offer before which we were vulnerable to counter offers. Clark Willis and in particular their solicitor Faye Edemensen dealt with the conveyancing in the most efficient and professional manner. The service provided by Faye combined charm with attention to detail, realising the urgency of our position. I cannot praise her highly enough.

Two years ago I used the services of Slater Heelis to arrange a Capacity Assessment for my sister and just recently a Deed of Variation for her will. Prior to that I had used the services of Towns Neesham, a firm who later joined with SLater Heelis, where they had dealt with the purchase of father's house, the subsequent transfer of ownership to my sister, prepared my sisters will and later dealt with the sale of her house. I have every confidence in the excellent services and guidance given by the Slater Heelis solicitors and I would use the firm again.

The divorce process between my wife and myself started out on relatively amicable terms and we agreed and documented all matters that needed to be resolved between us. The involvement of her new partner and the subsequent appointment of a solicitor significantly changed the dynamic and everything that had been agreed was suddenly revoked. After two years of wrangling I engaged Stowe Family Law out of desperation and the world suddenly got a lot clearer. I got a far better understanding of my position, rights and how various matters could be progressed and resolved. The minute Stowe got involved, the other solicitors quietened down. All outstanding matters were resolved and the divorce completed within 6 months.

I approached Sharon Richardson by friend’s recommendation via email and in connection with Low of intestacy. I had a promptly reply and been introduced to her colleague Karen Fryer, who took my case. Karen was really helpful throughout the process from beginning to the end in professional way and showed incredible patience and understanding during my many enquiries and risen complications.
