“It appears that a conveyancer these days never looks at previous questions they have asked you. If a buyers solicitor asks a question they just forward to the seller without looking to see if the question has been asked previously. I had to answer several questions twice. It also seems that information needed when selling a property has to be known by the seller, even though they are not a qualified conveyancer. Checks were left until the very last minute, providing delays in exchange. I will be very careful choosing a solicitor when selling my own property later in the year, needless to say it will be a different company. They say “buyer beware” - in this case it was “seller beware””
