Challenging a will covers disputes over whether a will is valid or properly executed, or whether the provisions reflect the testator’s true intentions. A solicitor helps gather evidence of lack of mental capacity, undue influence, or a recent suspicious alteration, and they navigate probate rules, compel disclosure, and prepare court applications. The work often involves estate valuation, beneficiary rights, and remedies such as rectification or reduction of gifts to reflect rightful interests.
