Deathbed wills in England cover wills drafted by someone nearing death when time for formalities is limited. A solicitor helps ensure the will is valid, properly witnessed and complies with the Wills Act 1837 requirements, reducing the risk of a later challenge. They draft or revise the document, check testamentary capacity, and advise on revocation or alteration if a later will exists. They also liaise with executors and the Probate Registry to initiate probate when needed.

Jay Marsh-Gasson assisted me in making changes to my existing Will. Jay's professional behaviour, knowledge, and open and warm demeanour was very welcome. I really appreciated the time I was given to consider relevant details during both appointments. Jay was also great at keeping in touch and responding to emails promptly. He was courteous throughout. I was also greeted by a friendly receptionist on my arrival. Although the offices in Salisbury could do with a bit of tlc, the service offered was second to none.
