Fixed Fee Probates covers obtaining a grant of probate or confirmation on a fixed-price basis, where the solicitor manages the estate administration within an agreed fee. A solicitor in this area drafts and files the necessary forms, gathers the deceased’s assets and liabilities, and handles tax issues such as inheritance tax where applicable. They also appoints executors, communicates with beneficiaries, and oversees the collection and distribution of assets in line with the will and law. The fixed fee arrangement is designed to cap the professional charges for these steps.

Thank you for making a complex (to us) legal formality anything but complex! We were particularly delighted with the progress updates throughout and felt we could contact Shelagh O'Connell, Becky O'Connell or Rachael Pratt for clarification as and when we required. Much appreciated and thanks again for removing any stress from the tedious task of applying for a Grant of Probate and explaining the process in the simplest of terms and in so doing, sparing me my sanity! Thank you (again)!

Really appreciated the support and guidance from Rachel, not just able to provide honest and clear guidance but was really just able to listen when I think that was what I needed the most. My concerns were treated compassionately and with empathy whilst giving me the direction I needed to move forward and I feel that I am back in control now. Thank you, cannot recommend highly enough!
