In England, a single will covers the formal preparation of one testament detailing how the donor’s assets are to be distributed after death, who will administer the estate, and any trusts or guardianships. A solicitor drafting a single will actually writes, reviews for validity, and organises execution with two witnesses, then arranges secure storage and later updates if circumstances change. They advise on executors, estates, potential tax considerations, and steps to apply for probate when required.
