Conveyancing

Phillips Law handled my divorce so they were an obvious choice to use when I was moving house. It was slightly more complicated as there was a name change required to the title deeds but they made the whole process as easy and stress free as these things can be.

Complicated Medical delayed Employment Tribunal against US Corp

Despite a 9 month or so delay due to my Meningioma (Brain Tumor) operation Phillips Law were able to secure me a Tribunal against a major US Corporation for my unfair dismissal. 4 years on we have successfully won the case.

Trish and Jakki are great!

I recently used Phillips Law for the purchase of my property. Trish and Jakki were great to deal with, they kept us updated and got all our paperwork sorted in a timely manor. They were friendly and approachable and we felt like no question to them would be a 'silly question' from the day we first spoke to them they were so professional and really made us feel at ease with the purchase of our first home.

I couldn't recommend Phillips Law and Trish enough, if you are looking for a great solicitor then do contact Phillips Law!

Company Restructure

From the moment we met Jack Gardener at Phillips Offices we felt at ease that what we anticipated to be a painful and expensive process could not have been further from the truth !
At the second meeting we were introduced to James Fairley who also took control and made us feel completely at ease and finalised the legal documents .
overall great efficient experience

Employment Tribunal Success!

Phillips Law helped me tremendously with an out of time Unfair Dismissal case against a major US Corporation. This was due to my having suffered a major Brain Tumour and spending m9 ths in hospital. I believe we set a legal president in the UK for this. Subsequently after 4 years we won an out of court settlement from the Corporation.

4 years for probate of estate with one asset!

Phillips have taken 4 years (so far) to almost settle my late mother-in-laws estate which had only one major asset; her house

They have finally got everything back from HMRC but took 5 weeks to finalise their own account and now are delaying the final settlement figure despite having all the relevant bank details

They also accused me of theft and being a liar

Just do not use these people and warn all your friends

This solicitor needs to be avoided at all costs. I have now heard every excuse in the book from them. You never get an answer, always to busy with something else and lack of respect for the case they’re working with. Broken promises, which have lead to registering a complaint with the ombudsman.

Great solicitors - we have used them twice now for house moves and have been professional, prompt and helpful throughout. Cannot recommend Phillips and Symone enough - fast responses to emails, help with any query and always had our backs! Will use if we ever move in the future without a second thought and would recommend to anyone!

Recently sold a property and had the privilege of having Catherine Killeen as my solicitor. Catherine was professional and fast from the moment we started and achieved the time frame I asked for completion, actually the money from the house sale came to me before the arranged time. Great communication with same day responses usually within an hour, made to feel at ease throughout the whole process and I'd be very happy working with Catherine again on future buys and sells. I'd highly recommend

Huge thank you to Trish and the team. They made what seemed like a complicated process easy to understand, 'translated' jargon that we wouldn't have understood and was always available for an email or call should we need it. Very professional service but a human service tailored to what we needed. Would definitely recommend using these solicitors if your looking to buy a house.

Sub-par experience with this company.
Terrible communication throughout my purchase, un-answered emails to this day.
Issues with my lease being drawn up incorrectly came up after the purchase but this was never addressed or resolved after months (now years) of waiting. Currently paying ground rent which none of my neighbours pay, even though they purchased at the same time, they used a different solicitor who got this corrected (all the leases were meant to be the drawn up same as they’re new build flats).
