Will Aid covers the arranging of simple, legally valid wills, and related guidance on estate planning, for people who may not otherwise secure such advice. A solicitor practising in this area drafts the will, ensures the correct execution steps (including witnessing and storage), and advises on executors, risk areas in an estate, and basic tax considerations. In practice, solicitors coordinate with the charity running Will Aid to offer a reduced-cost or pro bono service, while ensuring the client’s wishes are clearly recorded and legally effective.

“I am very pleased I instructed Jade to prepare my Will. She carefully advised me throughout the process and was particularly helpful with the Trust fund I now have in place. Jade contacted me during a difficult time and made the process much easier by explaining everything to me in layman’s terms. Would recommend the service to everyone needing to have a Will prepared.”
