This area covers the fees charged for drafting, reviewing and updating a will in England. It also includes costs for any ancillary services such as storage of the will, witnessing, and basic will-related advice. A solicitor in this area explains fixed or hourly pricing, what is included, and any potential disbursements that may arise. The focus is on clear, client-friendly pricing for creating or amending a will and ensuring the document reflects the client’s wishes.
Pricing typically covers the drafting and formalising of a will, any required changes, and basic storage or safekeeping arrangements. A solicitor explains what is included in the quote, identifies any disbursements, and clarifies timelines and consent requirements to avoid delays or disputes later.

Tagged solicitor Eilidh McCreadie
I was looking for a local solicitor to provide advice on producing a will using the Will Aid Scheme. W&AS Bruce had volunteered to be part of the scheme, and knowing little about the firm met with Eilidh McCreadie to discuss producing a will. She was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and sensitive in our initial meeting, and prompt and effective in her follow up. Having used many solicitors in different parts of the country with mixed experiences, I will happily use W&AS Bruce again.
