Family case

Having had great success with Vivienne Middleton a few years ago, I returned to Lodders with Hollie to look at a difficult issue. Hollie was very empathetic from the first meeting, immediately grasped the complexity, both legal and emotional. She clearly explained my options and supported me to take a less common approach which ended up getting us to court quickly and therefore at a lower cost than the alternatives. Hollie recommended a fabulous barrister, Aimee Fox, and between them they secured us the best possible outcome in a highly professional and kind manner. I could not recommend Hollie highly enough for her genuine passion in her career, her legal knowledge and professional practice. Completed from start to finish in under 6 months.

Property Sale

As ever Lodders did a great job for us with our recent property sale (and an earlier purchase). Due to unforeseen circumstances Rhiannon had to pick up the file and complete the work on the sale for us. When she did so she was away from the office on holiday but spent quite some time working on the issues which had arisen and gave us very clear and helpful advice. With her help we were able to resolve a particularly knotty outstanding issue and get the sale over the line for which we are immensely grateful. Rhiannon epitomises the very high professional standards that Lodders sets in dealing with its clients. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending that other clients use Lodders for their property sales and purchases.

Complex property transactions.

Lee Thompson has been supporting us both personally and the development company for a range of complex property transactions for over three years. Lee always manages to explain clearly the implications of various options, offer balanced advice, rarely needing the support of others within the firm giving us full confidence in the legal process with Lodders.

Land Purchase, Sutton Coldfield

Lodders are an extremely professional company to deal with. They are meticulous in their approach, namely Lee Thompson, whether this is a land purchase or dealing with a financial lender when bringing in development finance. I always feel that lodders are fully assessing the risks with projects and what the potential and most likely outcome will be. Lee is extremely competent in dealing with highly complex situations that need an eye for detail, whilst the task also needs to be completed within a given deadline.

When you live on the other side of the world and you are informed that a relative has passed but cannot travel due to covid to attend to legal matters and a funeral. I contacted Lodders Solicitors at Henley in Arden offices and came into contact with a fabulous solicitor namely Gill Coombs, who along with her professional team worked miracles for the remaining members of this family. Gill organised and dealt with every situation with the utmost professionalism on our behalf, nothing was too much trouble for her and the help and guidance she provided was outstanding. I highly recommend Gill Coombs as legal representation.

Michael Brook from Lodders was a huge help in navigating through some legal family matters with my elderly mother. He explained complicated issues simply and clearly so that my mother could understand them. He has the perfect demeanor of professionalism combined with friendliness and empathy. We could not have been in better hands. A very heartfelt thank you to Michael and to Lodders from me, my mother and my sister. We could not have got through this without you!

A client

Lodders as a business is the perfect firm of solicitors to deal with, representing a local and friendly firm whilst also being very professional and having the attributes of a larger law firm. Our family has dealt with Gill Coombs for many years; she has always been fantastic to deal with, always professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
