I would highly recommend this firm, thet were out standing in my experience; brilliant and stress free;l service. I loved their system while meant no coming to an office. The security checks and email system were Excellent! Great even when travelling.

We agreed to complete the sale of my property today the 7th June 2023. Having spoken Pm Lawyers on that date at 0910 approximately I was assured by them a payment would be made via a telegraphic transfer by close of business.
It has not happened and after communicating my fears via numerous emails no one from his team has contacted me.
It is a life changing amount of money which I had arranged to reinvest today. Something I cannot do. They were made aware of this several times.
I am left without the funds to change my outlook on life.
Do not engage with this company.

Do not use this company as they are at best barely adequate, they spent over 13 months to complete the sale of my property and cost me many thousands in the delayed process. The sheer incompetence is almost laughable. Like others have stated, we didn't choose PMPL. Hours and I mean hours on hold, spent a total of 7 hours on hold one week with no answer. I'm amazed that the house sale went through in the end. They were almost always impossible to get hold of and had to be repeatedly chased by the buyer, myself, our solicitor, the estate agent and even our seller's agent in order to get any response towards the end of the process. I understand that maybe the team's resources are overstretched but if this is the case then they shouldn't be taking on the work if they can't provide a decent service. Basic communication skills and common courtesy seem to be lacking in a big way. I feel sorry for anyone that uses this company, prepare for a very rough ride that is sure to making your house sale a miserable one. I would urge anybody reading these reviews to not instruct PM if you value your sanity and mental health.
Top Tip, pick a local agent as they will be provide a much better service than PMP layers.

PM property lawyers? AVOID!!!!! If you really want your house buying process done by professionals please avoid PM property lawyers because they don’t care about you. They just don’t. They don’t respond to calls. They don’t reply to emails. Poor at updating status. Careless. Unprofessional. Will never recommend them to anyone.

I instructed PMPL on the 17th May..The Wright Team…that should be the Wrong Team…
I have a cash buyer and no mortgage redemption.. after seven months of very slow progress I am told they cannot complete my sale and will not charge a fee…. any paperwork or documents needed should have been requested with in a couple of weeks in June ..
Not sure if you have anyone qualified in that team for them to terminate their dealings with me.
I cannot believe the incompetence.
I now need to make sure I get my deposit back and the deeds I sent to PMPL office way back in May.

PM handled our property sale and purchase. They were extremely efficient, communicated extremely well and were professional and friendly. I was concerned when originally seeing the reviews but they made it clear that they were turning things around and then proved it with the excellent service provided. I would highly recommend these conveyancers and would like to thank everyone that dealt with our cases, especially Team Davis. Thanks so much for all your work!

Wish I'd read the reviews! Ex chose them, so couldn't change. Took 6 months to do simple transfer of equity. Should have taken 6 weeks. Took 6 weeks just to do ID check! Complained and got someone who did actually seem to do something. Still took forever.
Don't be taken in by the price being cheap, it will cost you in time and stress. It's not worth it, pay more and get a firm you can speak to

I wouldnt even give 1star to this company.
I cannot believe these 'lawyers' still exists. After reading all of the bad reviews I decided to change solicitors in a very early stage of my mortgage process. Deposit was paid, but no work was done what so ever, you cannot get hold of these people. Email, call, no answer hundreds of times. In the contract clearly states if you cancel within 14 days, they will give the moneys back whatever is paid, but this has not been done and apparently deposit is non refundable, well your contract states otherwise.
Avoid if you can, these people are USELESS!!

Through all ups and downs, my case has finally been settled! Things smoothed since Susanne Daine took over, she responded promptly, and yet kept me on track by recommending the right course of action... I was almost losing hope and was getting frustrated, but Susanne handled it all very professionally. Only feedback I have is to fast track the process and if possible keep same solicitor on case, or swift hand overs where change is unavoidable. Thank you again and will definitely use again in future.

DO NOT USE.
The pre-action protocol letter that was drafted had incorrect legal entity named for the defendant, meaning that the proceedings would have been invalid if we had reached court. I had to redraft the letter.
Emails go unanswered for weeks and nobody answers the phone. I have to send weekly chaser emails just to get a response. There is a complete lack of customer service and respect for clients.
Once I do manage to get a response and understand the current status, I will be taking on the case myself. Unbelievably, I seem to know more about the law than they do.
