    We had Lucy Ashworth and Jessica Scholey as our solicitors for our sale and purchase and we would highly recommend them! They were so quick acting on both files as soon as they received any information. For example we had been waiting for enquiries from our buyer, they were sent to Jessica at 4pm and by 8am the next day she had already acted on them! We did not even need to chase them up as they were so on it the whole way through and made this process so much less stressful for us. Customer service was brilliant too, if we did have to call them, they knew exactly who we were and what the current progress was. I had a previous solicitor from a different firm who completed my first sale and she never called me once, so it was refreshing to have this personal touch at Lester Campbell. Thank you both for all your hard work. We would 100% use Lester Campbell again and we would recommend them to anyone wanting high quality, professional, competent, solicitors!

    We employed Lester Campbell in a sale and purchase of houses for a second time. While we were frustrated by the chains, Lucy and Haris kept us moving forward if only a centimetre at a time. It was really on completion day when our choice of Lester Campbell really paid off. With the banks down for a few hours and our movers heading 150 miles south Lucy got us over the line. At the end of the day conveyancing is about trusting the legal team to deliver and ours did.

      Very disappointing experience for myself & partner. We are currently trying to complete the sale of our property and the delays involving Lester Campbell have been incredibly frustrating. We have repeatedly been waiting for progress and still do not have a confirmed completion date, despite being ready on our side. The ongoing delays have caused unnecessary stress and have also meant mortgage redemption statements expiring and having to be requested again. Communication and urgency have been far below what we would expect from a conveyancing firm, especially at such an important stage of a property transaction. Hopefully matters are resolved quickly and we can finally complete. I will update this review if the service improves and the transaction is brought to a prompt conclusion. in reply to your comment - Thank you for your response. I am fully aware that I am not personally your client, and my review did not claim that I was. My partner, Ben Lawton, is the seller of the property and Lester Campbell are acting for the other side in that transaction. As his partner, I am directly witnessing the ongoing delays, lack of progress and the considerable stress and additional expense this is causing us. Ben has also left his own review detailing his experience, including the fact that his mortgage redemption statements have repeatedly expired while waiting for this matter to progress, resulting in further time, administration and cost. Rather than asking me to remove an honest review because I am not your client, I would much prefer the focus to be on progressing the transaction and addressing the issues that have led to both of us feeling the need to leave reviews in the first place. My review reflects my genuine experience of the impact this situation is having on us. I will be more than happy to update it if and when the matter is brought to a satisfactory conclusion.

      Extremely frustrating experience. Lester Campbell are acting for the other side in the sale of my property, and the delays have now caused me significant additional cost. We still do not have a confirmed completion date, despite the matter dragging on, and my mortgage redemption statements have repeatedly expired as a result, meaning further time, cost and administration each time. The lack of urgency and clear communication has been extremely disappointing and has made what should have been a straightforward sale far more stressful and expensive than necessary. I am leaving this one-star review based on my experience to date and will happily update it if the matter is finally brought to completion promptly and professionally.
